Crispy fried chicken wings glazed with flavourful Thai-style spicy sticky sauce. These Spicy Thai wings are highly addictive wing recipes of all time. So simple and easy to make at home with basic everyday ingredients.

Perfect for starter or as a main meal for parties, gatherings or any occasion. This Thai chicken Wings recipe is one of your family's favourite appetizer. I love spicy sticky wings with a kick of hot chilli sauce but, you can always adjust the spicy level by decreasing the amount of sriracha chilli sauce.

For a sweet and spicy twist made in an air fryer, try my Hot Honey Chicken Wings. Sweet, spicy sticky, and flavourful!

How to Make It

Put chicken wings in a large bowl, add all the ingredients from the marinate list. Mix all the ingredients and rub it in chicken wings well. Set aside and marinate at least 30 mins or You can leave them overnight in the fridge.

Thai Wings

Mix all ingredients from the wing sauce list in a bowl and set aside. Roughly chop the garlic and set aside.

In a large tray pour the corn/potato starch(flour) in. Coat each of the chicken wings well with the flour. Toss the excess flour out before frying.

SPICY THAI WINGS

Heat the oil into high heat about 350° F. Add the coated wings and deep fry for 8-10 mins till crispy golden brown. Remove from oil and transfer to a cooling rack or paper towel.

SPICY THAI WINGS

Heat a pan, drizzle 2 tsp of oil, add the garlic and stir for 1-2 mins till the nice garlic smell comes out, then add the wing sauce mix. Lower the heat and stir for a few seconds.

SPICY THAI WINGS

Turn off the heat and add the fried wings in the pan. Stir and combine the wings and sauce together well.

Thai Wings

Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with kaffir lime leaves strips. You can leave out kaffir limes leaves if it is not accessible. It is just tasty even without kaffir lime leaves.

Can you bake it?

If you do not like deep frying you could even bake them with this recipe. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray the cooking oil on the wings and baked them on a tray lined with baking paper until golden brown for about 30-45 mins, flipping the wings once midway through. Brush the reduced sauce on the baked wings generously and put it back in the oven for a minute or two. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy.

This is now my favorite wing recipe! I didn't have hot chili sauce so I used hot chili paste. Yes, it was a little too hot, but I like hot and spicy! Definitely making this again! Also, I baked the wings...

Hi Maria, you can use mild chilli sauce, or sweet chilli sauce.
